Screw compensation display, modification and setting of GSK 218MC

The machine tool pitch compensation of the 218MC system provides customers with a convenient, concise and intuitive operation interface. The location page display is described in detail below:
01 pitch displayPress the 【Screw Compensation】soft key to enter the screw compensation interface. The screw compensation interface is displayed as follows (see Figure 3-3-4-1-1).

02Pitch compensation related parameters
Note:
When the bit parameter NO:37#0 is 1, the screw compensation is valid;
When setting bit parameter NO:37#0 to 1, use two-way (respective) pitch error compensation method, when set to 0, use one-way (average) compensation method;
When setting bit parameter NO: 38#7 to 1, the determined value compensation method is used, and when set to 0, the incremental value compensation method is used.

Note:
PA:0216~0220 The pitch error compensation number of the reference point refers to the number of the compensation serial number where the reference point (mechanical O point) is located. The compensation serial number is fixed from 0 to 255, and the reference point is arranged in the corresponding number The position is set in this parameter;
PA: 0221~0225 The screw compensation value that moves to the zero point in the opposite direction from zero return refers to the value of the backlash when moving in the reverse direction. This parameter is only activated when bidirectional compensation is used. When the average compensation is used, the backlash compensation The value is set in PA: 0190~0194 parameters;
PA:0226~0230 pitch error compensation pitch refers to the distance set for each stage of compensation.

03 Explanation of the pitch compensation pitch setting of each axis
The 218MC pitch error compensation adopts a more concise way, and it only needs to determine the error compensation value of the forward movement end position of the interval of each compensation interval and their corresponding compensation numbers to compensate.
The pitch compensation number of 218MC system is 0-255. 218MC omits the concept of compensation points, and the number of compensation points required is obtained according to "Number of compensation points to be set = screw stroke/compensation pitch". The user only needs to determine one of the compensation points or the compensation distance according to the need, and the other parameter can be determined by the screw stroke.
Pitch error compensation pitch = total screw travel / user-defined number of compensation segments
Number of pitch error compensation segments = total screw travel / user-defined compensation interval
If the lead screw travel is 800mm, the user wants to divide the pitch compensation into 10 segments, the pitch of each segment is 80mm (80mm=800mm/10), set the compensation pitch value of the corresponding axis of P226~P229 to 80 That’s all. When inputting the compensation value, you only need to input 0-10 compensation number.
If the lead screw stroke is 800mm, the user wants to use the distance 50mm for compensation. Set the parameter parameter P226~P230 to the corresponding axis. The compensation distance is set to 50. When entering the compensation value, only need to enter the 0-16 compensation number (16 =800/50).
04 Input steps of pitch compensation value
Press the system key to enter the system page. There are five sub-interfaces: [Offset], [Parameter], [Macro Variable], [Screw Compensation], and [Servo]. Press the [Screw Compensation] soft key to enter the pitch error compensation page, as follows Figure:

Directly input the compensation value of each point of each axis, the steps are as follows:
Choose the entry method;
Press the Set key, then press the [Password] soft key to enter the [Setting (Password)] page, and enter the password for the system debug level or higher.
Press the [Set] soft key to enter the [Set] page and open the parameter switch.
Press the system key and then press the [Screw Compensation] soft key to enter the pitch error compensation display interface;
Use the up, down, left, and right direction keys to position the cursor at the target position, key in the compensation value, and press the enter key. The compensation value is entered and displayed.
