How to turn on and turn off Hurco CNC Machine?

How to start the machine:

1. Make sure the emergency switch is pressed first, then turn on the power switch on the top of the electrical box.

2. After the machine software is activated, when the "Input Mode" interface appears on the left screen, turn on the emergency switch . There are 3 in total, all in red, one on the right side of the console, another on the upper left of the manual control unit (there is no such switch on the single screen), and another on the spindle head shield of the machine. Turn the switch in the direction of the arrow to turn it on.

3. Press the manual button on the console, then press the power button . At this time, the button lights up, and the activation button flashes. Press this button to power on the machine servo.

4. Press the F8 origin correction touch key, and the activation button flashes. Press this key to start the origin correction of the machine. After the X, Y, and Z axes return to zero, the activation button flashes, and there is a prompt at the bottom of the text screen: The tool magazine will calibrate the origin, press the activation button to calibrate the tool magazine.

5. Before warming up the machine, first determine the spindle tool number. If there is a tool on the spindle, remove the tool or put it back into the tool magazine to make the spindle tool number 0.

6. Press the machine warm-up touch key, and then press the activation button to run the machine to warm up. During warm-up, the machine will first run at a lower spindle speed, and then warm up at a higher speed. Generally, the machine warms up for about 15 to 20 minutes. During warm-up, the feed rate of the X, Y, and Z axes of the machine cannot be adjusted manually.



How to turn off the machine?

1. Put the tool on the spindle into the tool magazine, or take it out manually, and keep the spindle without a tool. The tool number must be 0

2. Clean the workbench and prevent rust

3. Press the manual key

4. Press the F4 machine stop touch key , then press the activation button

5. The machine spindle will automatically move to the zero point, and the X and Y axes will move to the middle position. After a few seconds, the machine servo will be powered off

6. Press the emergency button to turn off the main power above the machine electrical box
