Repair and Replacement Steps for a White Screen Failure in a FANUC System

Disconnect the button panel connector, remove the screws securing the yellow cover, and press the clips to remove the cover.

Quickly remove the motherboard battery and reinsert it to prevent data loss (the battery has a quick-connect design).

Disconnect the bottom ribbon cable.

Remove the motherboard.

Remove the screws at the bottom of the motherboard, lift the motherboard upwards, pull out the button bar, and remove the motherboard.

Pay attention to the motherboard clip positions to avoid forceful disassembly.

Replace the LCD display.

Remove the four screws securing the screen, remove the old screen, and note the model number (send to paycnc@paycnc.com for quotation).

Unplug the old screen ribbon cable, plug it into the new screen, tighten the screws, and remove the screen protector.

Reset and Test.

Reassemble the motherboard, button bar, and cover in reverse order, ensuring all ribbon cables and connectors are securely connected.

Power on and test to confirm the screen displays correctly.

Precautions.

Keep the power off throughout the entire operation to avoid damaging the device by hot-plugging.

Battery removal and installation must be quick to prevent data loss.

The new screen model must be the same as the old screen.
