Err-11 on GSK DA98A AC Servo Driver
Video on Youtube

Replacing the motor cable failed to resolve the alarm, indicating the fault lay with the motor itself.
Addressing the "Alarm 11" on the GSK DA98A Servo Drive for the CNC lathe's X-axis, the power was first disconnected to test the motor's power cable. It was found that the resistance to ground for the three phases (U, V, W) was extremely low—indicating a short circuit—and the motor connector was burnt and blackened; in contrast, the resistance to ground for the C-axis motor cable was infinite.
After installing a new motor cable and powering on the system, the drive still triggered "Alarm 11." Re-testing the new cable showed infinite resistance to ground across all three phases, confirming the cable was not at fault. Maintenance personnel suspected the motor had been damaged by water ingress and determined it needed to be removed for further inspection.
Power turned off; testing the X-axis motor power cable revealed a short circuit to ground across the three phases.
Motor cable replaced; after connecting the new cable and powering on, "Alarm 11" persisted.
Motor troubleshooting confirmed the new cable was functioning correctly; concluded the motor was likely damaged and required removal.
