Electric Turret keeps running continuously and does not stop at the correct position

This type of fault is rarely caused by mechanical issues. In most cases, it is caused by electrical signal problems. The main focus should be on checking the encoder/signal plate (position signal board) and the signal circuit.

Standard troubleshooting procedure:

1. Check the tool position display on the CNC system:
If no tool position is displayed at all, directly check the power supply and ground connection of the signal plate.

2. Check the elastic contacts of the signal plate:
If the contacts are severely worn or deformed, replace the elastic contact pieces.

3. Check the ground wire of the signal plate:
A broken ground wire or poor grounding connection is one of the most commonly overlooked causes. Make sure the grounding is reliable.

4. Check the intermediate relay:
If the relay contacts are burnt or damaged, the tool-position-in-place signal may not be transmitted properly.

5. Finally, check the CNC system input circuit:
If all the above checks are normal, replace the system input module.
